AMD is investigating Windows 11 22H2

Microsoft's Windows operating system 22H2 (2022 Update) is said to favor AMD over other users.

Both AMD and Microsoft has to ensure that their software works well with the upcoming Ryzen 7000 CPUs.

Various types of AMD tend to run slower with the latest version of Windows.

Reports claimed that a possible flaw in Windows 11 and a bug in AMD hardware may have caused recent performance issues.

Specialists mentioned that the problem is because of the new array of AMD cores' CCD (Core Compute Die) configurations failing to match Windows 11 thread dispatchers and the games ran slowly.

Disabling SMT (Simultaneous MultiThreading) can alleviate Windows 11 performance issues in some cases.

AMD chips weathered similar difficulties last year as Nvidia users also reported diminished performance after updating to Windows 11.

AMD also stated that it has been reviewing the reports, but there was nothing noteworthy there.

AMD missed a big difference between two versions of OS software, and independent issues plaguing clients may not have anything to do with the AMD CPUs.
